There’s nothing better than coming home and checking your mailbox to find a box of scrapbooking goodies waiting for you! 😀
Here’s my most recent on-line purchase from Scrapbook Nerd.
I can’t wait to dig in!
If you haven’t checked out their on-line store yet, why don’t you head over now?
So, over the weekend I just couldn’t help myself and made another little purchase at Scrapbook Nerd.
They have super fast shipping, so I knew I would get my order by the time my next day off rolled around – today! 😀
I purchased Jillibean Soup’s “Farmhouse Stew”. The colours are not the usual colours I go for, but I had a few photos that I thought would work perfectly with the collection.
I also purchased some Jillibean Soup felt flowers because I have a few ugly magnets I feel can use some beautification.
I’ll post them when I’m finished.
Off to do a little crafting!
Have a great afternoon everyone!
Here’s my week 5 layout for Paper Issues “52 Favourites” challenge.
Of course getting so much happy mail was the highlight of my week! 😉I used my new collection from Kaisercraft, “Hide & Seek” that I purchased from Scrapbook Nerd. The collection is geared more towards children but worked quite nicely for this page. Here’s hoping everyone finds some time this weekend to get your scrap on!
My second scrapbook order came in today! YAY!!
I bought all this gorgeous stuff from Paper Issues. Some Photo Play “Wild Love”, Carta Bella “Our House” and Crate Paper “La La Love”.
With all my new stuff, I have no idea what I’m going to use for this weeks “52 Favourites” challenge. I might have to participate in another challenge just so I can dig into ALL my new goodies! LOL!
It’s a super snowy day today and I would love to be scrapbooking, but I have a birthday present I’m knitting for a friend that has to get done, so today, knitting it is!!
If you’ve never checked out the Paper Issues store, have a look, They carry the newest stuff all the time!!
I just wanted to take a minute to share my first little order that came in from Scrapbook Nerd. VERY quick deliver!! Love it.
The “Winterberry” collection from My Minds Eye, some foam words from Jillibean Soup and the adorable “Hide and Seek” collection from Kaisercraft. I also bought some adhesive but didn’t think you needed to see a picture of that!! LOL!! Nothing really to swoon over.
I participated in a the “Tic Tac Toe” challenge today over at Paper Issues and created a really fun page. I just have to take some pictures and then I’ll share it with you.
If you’re looking for some great challenges, you really need to check out their page. You have a chance to win 1 of 2 gift cards to their store too! Who doesn’t love free stuff?
Anyway, off to tidy up the kitchen table so we can have dinner.
I was thinking last week, if I’m participating in a challenge that requires me to scrapbook 1 layout a week, I’d better buy some new stuff!! 😉
So, last Thursday night while my husband and son went to the movies, I ordered some goodies from Paper Issues. This is what happens when you leave me alone!
But then a couple of days ago, along comes a coupon in my inbox for 15% off any purchase at Scrapbook Nerd! Well, I’m not one to let a coupon go to waste! LOL! So I placed an order with them too!
Now I’m sitting here impatiently waiting on 2 orders to come in. I’ve been scrapbooking quite a bit lately trying to use up my old stash because I need to make room for all the new things coming in.
Here are a couple of layouts I’ve completed using up my older stash:I used up the last of my Simple Stories “Cabin Fever” collection on this layout. The colours of these papers worked perfectly for this photo. And for this layout, I used up the last of my Crate Paper “Boys Rule” collection which I think came out about 5 years ago!
I was lucky to be able to come home from work early today so I’m going to go and start on another page for the “52 Favourites” challenge. Remember, you can join in the challenge at any time! It’s really fun…and challenging!
