Magnet makeover…

Hello everyone!

I mentioned a few days ago I had some fridge magnets that were in need of a makeover and I wanted to use my felt flowers from Jillibean Soup to help me transform them.

I used Jillibean Soup “Mix the Media” felt flowers and die cuts and puffy stickers from their “Farmhouse Stew” collection.

I apologize for the dark photos but I created late into the night! LOL!

I simply used an assortment of die cut leaves and flowers and glued them around the outside edges of the magnet overlapping them to create layers.

I then took a peach butterfly puffy sticker and stuck it to the edge of one of the felt petals.

The felt flowers have an adhesive back making it really easy to attach them to anything. I placed mine in the center of the embellished magnet.

Here’s my first finished magnet.

Next I overhauled a clip magnet we have.

I added some flowers and leaves to the top and bottom of the clip then attached my felt flower to the center.  I purposely didn’t attach the felt flower to the top of the clip magnet because that’s where you have to press to open it so I wanted to keep it flat there.

Both magnets only took me about a half an hour to make.  It was a fun, quick craft.

Now off to work on my second design team assignment for The Studio Challenge.  Make sure if you join in our challenges, that you add them to the blog! We love seeing what you do!

Happy scrapping!
